“I have worked with Steve on many occasions and have found his extensive knowledge and practical experience in tree felling second to none. Especially in sensitive habitat areas. I would be happy to recommend Habi-Tec.”
“Steve and his team have created a huge range of hollows in our tree and already we have seen an increase in the wildlife actively using the three. Very professional service and a great alternative to completely removing the tree.”
“Thanks to Steve and Ashley at Habi-Tec for creating a wonderful habitat in a tree which we previously would of had fully removed until we discovered the amazing work you guys are able to do in assisting our precious wildlife.”
We had a large gum that was dead after being struck by lightening. We looked around for arborists who would be able to help us shorten the height but preserve it for animals to use. This seemed impossible until I met Steve. Steve and his team did an awesome job of putting 5 hollows into the tree which are attracting lorikeets a week later. They also did a great job cleaning the area and other parts of our acreage as well. Thanks for great service. Would highly recommend and would be happy to use again.
“I am completely inspired by Steve and his arborist team @habitec_arb. They create artificial hollows to replicate natural habitats, housing native birds and animals. They passionately challenge unethical processes commonly used within the industry. A true example of wildlife warriors. This is where I source the wood for my succulent planters. Rather than put beautiful pieces of white mahogany, bloodwood, ironbark and jacaranda through the chipper, he gives it to me to make karasuccs. "
